The Brief

As part of a large financial services company, GE Capital Fleet Services received many ‘blind’ RFPs from prospects. Responding to an RFP is an investment of time and resources. When there is no relationship prior to receiving an RFP and the prospect does not accept meetings, GE wanted a way of ‘keeping the door open’ while declining to participate in the RFP process. This piece of marketing collateral was designed to send out to these prospects.

The Approach

Meeting with the various SMEs throughout the organization, I was able to discern the key value propositions and selling points for an array of products and services. I used this information in combination with existing content to craft the messaging in this ‘RFP light’.

The Result

At least three large prospects reached out to GE after receiving this collateral to set up in person meetings with our sales people.
